Key Responsibilities

Provide psychosocial assessment and evidence-informed counselling interventions
Deliver trauma-informed psychiatric care and crisis management
Implement case management and rehabilitation strategies
Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
Collaborate with healthcare providers and community agencies
Provide family-centered mental health services

Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited post-secondary education in Health-Related Social Sciences (e.g. BSW, BScMH, BScPN, BN, RPN)

Experience

Minimum two (2) years experience providing evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents, 3-5 years preferred

Required Skills

Advanced mental health psychosocial assessment skills Knowledge of child and adolescent development Crisis management and suicide intervention skills Proficiency with MS Office suite Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills Cultural competency Valid Class 5 driver's license
