Key Responsibilities

Lead clinical engineering operations across UPMC Ireland network
Manage biomedical team and oversee equipment maintenance programs
Develop and implement medical device safety protocols
Direct strategic planning for medical equipment lifecycle management
Oversee equipment procurement and vendor relationships
Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
Provide technical consultation to hospital leadership

Requirements

Education

Level 7 or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Instrument Physics, Industrial Instrumentation, Applied Physics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Biomedical Engineering; Masters-level in related discipline preferred

Experience

Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience with 3 years in clinical engineering environment
